Pierce McCarter ninth at East Alabama Motor Speedway

Pierce McCarter made the trek to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) on Sunday afternoon for an unsanctioned $10,000-to-win show.

After qualiyfing fourth-fastest out of 20 Late Models, McCarter charged to a runner-up finish in his heat race and recorded a Top-10 outing in the 50-lap feature.
