Mack McCarter Logs a Pair of DNF's

Mack McCarter visited Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) on Friday evening piloting his Parkway Liquor Store No. 51 Crate Late Model for the regular night of racing. After failing to record a lap during his time trial session, Mack was an early retiree from the 30-lap feature on lap 11.

The following night 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) for the ninth annual J.T. Kerr Memorial, Mack laid down the eighth fastest time in a field of 37 cars before placing second in his heat behind Zach Size. With $5,000 on the line, McCarter withdrew early from the 50-lapper on lap 23.
