3rd Place Finish in Ice Bowl at TST

Kicking off the 2020 season, Pierce McCarter invaded Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) on Saturday afternoon for the 29th annual Ice Bowl. In a field of 34 Newsome Crate Racin’ USA Winter Series entries, McCarter followed up the second fastest lap in his time trial group behind T.J. Brittain with a 10-lap heat race victory. Earning the third-starting position for the $3,000-to-win A-Main on Sunday, Pierce held his spot for all 50 laps to place third behind Jimmy Elliott and Ronnie Johnson with Chase Walls and Cory Hedgecock rounding out the Top-5.
