Mack tags wall while running third at Smoky Mountain

Mack McCarter made his lone start of the weekend on Saturday afternoon at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) for the American Crate All-Star Series-sanctioned Smoky Mountain Summer Showdown. Following the sixth fastest time in qualifying, McCarter posted a third-place finish in the Dash. Earning the third-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Mack tagged the while wall running in third that saw him pull off on the 41st circuit. (Michael Moats photo)
