Podium finish for Mack at Bulls Gap

Competing in an American All-Star Series doubleheader, Mack McCarter made the short trip to Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tenn.) on Friday afternoon for the Thunder in the Mountains. In a field of 22 cars, McCarter edged his way into the opening night feature with a fifth-place finish in his heat. Starting the feature in 15th, Mack was an early retiree from the 40-lapper on the second circuit.

The following night at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) for the Tennessee Summer Sizzler, Mack timed in seventh fastest in his group before picking up a heat race victory. With $2,500 on the line in the feature, McCarter passed four cars in the 40-lapper to finish third. He followed Zach Sise and Logan Roberson across the line with Trevor Sise and Rusty Ballenger rounding out the Top-5.
