Fourth-place finish in The Sweetheart at 411 Motor Speedway
On Saturday, Mack McCarter was back behind the wheel of his Jim Beeman Lumber No. 51 at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) for the annual Crate Racin' USA-sanctioned Sweetheart.
With 36 Late Models on hand, Mack recorded the fifth-fastest lap in the first qualifying group which locked him into the 40-lap A-Main. With $3,023 on the line, McCarter rolled off from the ninth position and brought his way up to fourth when the checkers flew. He trailed Cory Hedgecock, Hayden Cardwell, and Jason Whelshan, while Rusty Ballenger completed the Top-5.
