Heartbreak for Mack McCarter in J.T. Kerr Memorial at 411 Motor Speedway

With Friday's plans washed out, Mack McCarter and the McCarter Brothers Racing focused on 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon for the J.T. Kerr Memorial with Crate Rain' USA.

With a stout field of 40 Late Models on hand, Mack qualified third-quickest and easily took home the win in his heat race. For the 71-lap main event, McCarter moved his way to the top spot on lap 23 and led 25 laps until mechanical woes forced him to pull in early. He was scored 18th in the final rundown.
