Pierce McCarter sixth with Southern National Series at Tazewell Speedway
Tapping in for one night with the miniseries, Pierce McCarter checked into Tazewell (Tenn.) Speedway on Saturday afternoon for the $20,053-to-win Southern Nationals season finale.
Laying down the fifth-quickest lap in qualifying, McCarter finished runner-up in his heat and started the 75-lap feature from the third-row. Keeping his nose clean throughout the lengthy main event, Pierce finished just outside the Top-5 in sixth.
