10th-place outing with Spring Nationals in Bill Corum Memorial at Tazewell
With the Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals running close to home, Pierce McCarter entered his name into competition at at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.) on Friday and Tazewell (Tenn.) Speedway on Saturday for a doubleheader weekend.
After a forgettable night at I-75, McCarter turned his attention to Saturday's $21,000-to-win showdown. Starting 14th in the 75-lap marathon, Pierce survived to record a Top-10 finish in 10th.
