McCarter seventh with Southern Nationals at Wythe Raceway
Joining the tour during their opening weekend, Mack McCarter was one of 23 Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals Series entries at Wythe Raceway (Rural Retreat, Va.) on Saturday.
McCarter qualified second-fastest in his group and started fourth in the $10,053-to-win main event where he wound up seventh after 53-laps.
Pierce joined the tour at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) on Monday evening and placed ninth in the Scott Sexton Memorial.
