Pierce McCarter grabs Modified checkered flag at Volunteer Speedway

Pierce McCarter brought out the Modified and Super Late Model on Saturday night at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) for the Southern All Stars show.

While mechanical issues sidelined him for the $4,000-to-win Super Late Model show, McCarter led flag-to-flag in the 15-lap Modifed main event and took home the checkered flag over Jesse Rupe and Kaleb Trent.

Mack attempted to race with the American All-Stars at Wythe Raceway (Rural Retreat, Va.) on Sunday evening, but mechanical issues prevented him from making the $7,000-to-win main event.
