Flat tire dooms Tri-County Racetrack outing for Pierce McCarter
On Friday afternoon, Pierce McCarter and the McCarter Racing Brothers invaded Tri-County Racetrack (Brasstown, N.C.) to compete with the Topless Outlaw Dirt Racing Series.
Among 19 Late Models on site, McCarter topped the charts in qualifying and started on the pole of the main event before Pierce suffered a flat tire at the halfway point of the 40-lap feature. He was scored 14th.
