Ninth-place finish with Spring Nationals at Tazewell Speedway for Pierce
Pierce McCarter joined the Schaeffer's Oil Spring National Series at Tazewell (Tenn.) Speedway on Saturday afternoon for the $21,000-to-win Lil' Bill Corum Memorial.
Finishing fourth in a heat race, McCarter started 11th in the 75-lap main event and wound up inside the Top-10 in ninth.
